Marco Beltrami to score Max Payne


Marco Beltrami has signed on to score the upcoming live action adaptation of the Max Payne videogame series, starring Mark Wahlberg. The feature film, also starring Mila Kunis, will open in October 2008.

Marco has already completed the score for The Hurt Locker, a drama which follows an elite bomb disposal squad stationed in Iraq, who come together through the chaos of war.

As well Marco has also scored the thriller In The Electric Mist. The murder mystery stars Tommy Lee Jones, Peter Sarsgaard and John Goodman.



Mothersbaugh takes on Star Wars Groupies, Teenage Love and Raining Food

Mark Mothersbaugh is set to score two new comedies. The first Fanboys, a story set in 1998 about a group of Star Wars fans journeying to Skywalker Ranch to catch a first glimpse at Episode 1: The Phantom Menace.

The second, Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist stars Michael Cera (Superbad) and Kat Dennings (Charlie Bartlett) as two broken hearted teenagers who spend the night together in New York City trying to locate the venue of their favorite band's secret show.

Mark is also set to score the film adaptation of the popular children's book Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

Talbot to score Franklyn and Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging

Joby is set to score Franklyn, which marks the debut of writer/director Gerald McMarrow and stars Eva Green and Ryan Phillippe.

Joby has also scored Paramount's adaptation of the wildly successfully British novel Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging. Director Gurinder Chadha (Bend it Like Beckham) explores the world of Georgia Nicolason, a 16 year-old girl who keeps a diary recording the lessons she has learned about being a teenager, including how to deal with a younger sibling a wild cat and of course kissing.

Talbot scores Son of Rambow and Penelope

Joby reteamed with renowned directors Hammer & Tongs for their coming of age comedy Son of Rambow, which was purchased at the Sundance Film Festival after a fierce bidding war. Selling for a price similar to last year's hit Little Miss Sunshine, the film proved to be one of the favorites at this year's festival.



The Reese Witherspoon / Christina Ricci modern-day fairy tale Penelope, features a beautiful orchestral score by Joby as well.




Linda Cohen is Music Supervisor on three acclaimed films

The past few months Linda Cohen has been working on three diverse projects. First, she worked with director Gary Winick for Bride Wars, staring Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson. Her second film, Amelia, explores the relationship between famed aviator Amelia Earheart and her husband George Putnam. Linda is also working on the music for the film adaptation of the Secret Lives of Bees.



Adam Berry scores for Silverman and The Penguins of Madagascar

Composer Adam Berry has been writing music recently for the Sarah Silverman Program as well as The Penguins of Madagascar, which is based on the hit movie series from Dreamworks in conjunction with Nickelodeon.
