Upon hearing Jorane's music, two of Scandinavia's most influential producers, Axel Helgeland and Per Holst, were blown away. The producing pair, renowned for their works such as Billie August's and Pelle the Conqueror, directed by Bo Widerberg, as well as Element of Crime directed by Lars von Trier, fell in love with the artist.

For their production I Am Dina, a film directed by the Danish Ole Bornedal (Nightwatch) and starring Marie Bonnevie and Gérard Dépardieu, the duo selected Jorane to record two songs.

In no time Jorane found herself amidst a whirlwind of activity and excitement in a Los Angeles studio. In only 24 hours she recorded an instrumental (cello-voice) version of her own "Dit-elle" in which Jorane sings in her "invented" language, plus a second piece co-written with composer Marco Beltrami (Scream, Nightwatch, and Mimic) that became "Dina's Lullaby".

Universal Music Germany also suggested that she record an English version of "Dit-elle" (renamed "Dina" for this special occasion), which will be released to radio stations across Europe to promote the film's premiere. All three songs, as well as Film III from Jorane's sophomore album 16mm, are featured on the I Am Dina soundtrack.

Having heard of Jorane's work on the production I am Dina, director Adrian Lyne - renowned for his films 9 1/2 weeks, Fatal Attraction, Jacob's Ladder and Indecent Proposal - invited Jorane back to Los Angeles to improvise cello and vocal tracks for the soundtrack to his next film entitled Unfaithful. Jorane's pieces worked brilliantly; so much so that she was asked to prolong her stay at the 20th Century Fox studios in order to work with the soundtrack's composer, Jan Kaczmarek.

Jorane scored the film Je n'aime que toi in the midst of her recent world Tour.
